The TQC ZK rotating platform reducer is one of our high working efficiency transmission products that is highly versatile for many different machinery applications. The high precision and cost effective reducer is easily matched with servo or stepper motors at any angle.
The hollow rotating platform has a fixed ratio that can be matched with a planetary gearbox with various ratios including 1:15, 1:24, 1:32 1:40, 1:50.

Features

1. Motor connections can be directly locked on the rotating platform to maximize convenience.
2. The hollow design of the platform reducer allows for convenient wiring and piping.
3. It can replace DD motors and cam indexers. The mechanical motion is entirely rectilinear and circular. Sliding tables give priority to rectilinear motion, while the indexer is typically for circular motion. DD motors have become popular because of their precision capabilities. Even though DD motors can be applied in many different ways and they have high precision, their price point is high for many customers.
4. High positioning accuracy, repeated positioning accuracy is ±15 sec, lost motion is 2 min. The reducer uses gears which have been treated for ultra-precise operation, eliminating backlash.
5. The workbench or mechanical arm of the reducer can be directly mounted onto the surface of the hollow rotated platform. The precision of the reducer minimizes the need for costly repairs and increases transmission efficiency.

Model Selection

1. Mounting dimensions: input and output dimensions must be identical for the right angle gearbox to operate properly.
2. Ratio: Rated output speed of motor/gear ratio=Output speed of gearbox. Selecting the closest desired ratio is the best way to realize the desired speed.
3. Torque: The rated output torque of the gearbox must be greater than the connected servo motor's output torque (stepper motor: holding torque)*ratio. If it is less than this value, the service time is shortened and the gears and shaft will become damaged.
4. Backlash: One round is 360 degrees and 1 degree= 60 arc-min. These gearboxes feature minimal backlash and maximum precision. Radial stress and average working lifetime should be considered. Gearboxes with heavy radial stress have a higher reliability. The average working life of the gearbox is considerably greater than the servo motor.

Precautions for Use

1. How to store the reducer?
1) Keep the reducer in a clean and dry place.
2) If it will be stored outdoors or in a humid place, please put the reducer in a box packed tightly with a plastic bag to avoid exposure to natural elements. (take any additional anti-condensation and anti-rust measures)

2. Caution for operation:
1) Please confirm the reducer model number is the same as the one you ordered when the reducer is delivered.
2) The reducer was already filled with lubrication oil. You can use it right now.
3) During initial operation, please confirm the rotation direction of the output shaft, then increase the load little by little.

3. Caution during operation:
1) Do not overload!
2) Input speed cannot exceed the proper max. speed.
3) Please stop and check the reducer if any of the following occurs:
Sudden temperature rise
Abnormal noise
Unstable speed

4. Warranty instruction:
The following cost and damages are not included in our warranty:
1) Freight cost
2) If the Reducer connects with or inserts in a unit, when we dismounting or mounting on the unit and other extra action, there will be a cost. (this is not covered in the warranty)
3) The indirect damage that user lost the appliance chance or business break off due to reducer breakdown.
4) Other derivative and accompanying damages.
