Copper Clad Aluminum Magnesium Wire (CCAM Wire)
CCAM wire is an acronym for copper clad aluminum magnesium wire, which is a bimetallic wire consisting of an aluminum magnesium alloy core and a concentric copper cladding with a CU purity of 99.9%. Huawang CCAM wire is newly developed and manufactured in-house. Using ultra-high strength rare-earth aluminum alloy as the core and combined with an outer layer of electrical grade copper, makes stronger tensile strength of 180-250Mpa, while the density is only 2.85g/cm3. Compared to previous generation of copper clad aluminum magnesium wire, this CCAM wire is about 30% longer at the same weight. As it turns out, production cost has been reduced by approximately 30%. Currently Huawang can produce 15,000 tons of CCAM wire per year, and the product fully complies with ASTM B 566-93 standard.
CCAM wire diameter: 0.1mm-6.0mm
