Metamitron is a photosynthetic inhibitor. As a kind of herbicide, it is mainly used to control a variety of monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds such as solanum nigrum, chickweed, bluegrass, alopecurus aequalis, cleavers, and more. It is suitable for use in sugar beet and fodder beet. Its half-life period is 3 months, and its dosage ranges from 3.5 to 5.0kg/(a.i.)/hm2.
