Sidewall Rubber Conveyor Belt
Duratech sidewall rubber conveyor belt has been widely used for transporting bulk materials in ports, casting, metallurgy, underground mining (coal and ore), electricity, construction, agriculture and chemical industry material conveying.
The rubber belting is capable of continuously conveying bulk goods at inclines up to 90°. It's featured by high incline angle, wide applications, no transfer points, reduced construction investment, low maintenance cost and large loading capacity. The corrugated sidewall belt can easily realize the high-incline conveying that general fabric conveyor belt or chevron rubber conveyor belt can’t achieve. The sidewall conveyor belt can be designed to a complete conveyor system, which effectively simplify the lifting system and avoids intermittent conveying.
The sidewall belt is designed for horizontal, inclined and vertical transporting of bulk materials—from coal, rock, sand, fertilizer to grain. Lump size is unlimited, varying from powdery material up to 400mm. Materials can be transported with capacities from 1m³/h to 6000 m3/h.
The corrugated sidewall belt conveyors require high tensile strength and high abrasion resistance. For sidewall belts with edge margins, the rubber belt must feature good transverse rigidity and longitudinal flexibility to satisfy the requirements of angle and direction change. Duratech sidewall base belt is specially designed with higher transverse rigidity values to ensure fast and safe movement during high capacity transport. The width of the base belt fits the general rubber conveyor belts and meets the international standards.

* Sidewall fabric: Sidewalls from ≥ 120mm are reinforced with a fabric as standard and optional on lower sidewalls.
* The above roller diameters are only suitable for general and standard rubber covers. Larger rollers may be needed for specialty rubber covers and different tension requirements.

The cleats grant the excellent performance of the sidewall rubber conveyor belts. Type C and type TC cleats provide larger conveying capacities and good self-cleaning performance.
The cleats profiles molded with Duratech specially designed rubber compounds feature high rigidity and high impact resistance and they not easy to deform even when loading high-density materials.
Generally, Type T cleats are utilized when incline angle ≤40°; Type C, TC and TCS for incline angle >40°. The spacing between cleat profiles is adjustable to fit the wave peak of the corrugated sidewalls. In combination with the base belt bolt-up device, materials spillage from the gap of cleat and sidewall is prevented and dead corner of material discharge is eliminated.
